The International Trade by Commodity Statistics database includes detailed data from 1961 for imports and exports by commodity in quantity and value between OECD countries and 264 different partner countries. Products are classified according to the Standard International Trade Classification system (SITC) and Harmonised System (HS). ITCS contains 5 databases which differ according to the commodity classification used and the length of the time series: SITC Revision 2 (Standard International Trade Classification Revision 2, 1976) - data from 1961 onwards; SITC Revision 3 (Standard International Trade Classification Revision 2, 1986) - data from 1991 onwards; Harmonised System 1988 version - data from 1990 to 2000; Harmonised System, 1996 - data from 1996 onwards; and Total Trade and Trade Conversion Factors - data from 1991 onwards.
