[Dt.:] CodIcon online stellt ein DFG-Projekt zur Erschließung und Digitalisierung der Codices iconographici in Kooperation ausgehend von der Bayerischen Staatsbibliothek München dar. Bei diesen Codices handelt es sich um Bilderhandschriften und Bildsammlungen ohne oder nur mit erklärendem Text. Das Projekt umfasst Handschriften und Blätter zu Architektur, Astronomie, Heraldik oder dem Kriegswesen. Grundstocks des Fonds sind die fürstlichen Büchersammlungen aus München und Mannheim des 16.-19. Jahrhunderts. [Engl.:] CodIcon online has been established by the Bavarian National Library of Munich in cooperation with the DFG as a project for Analysis and Digitalization of the Codices iconographici. These codices are illuminated manuscripts and image collections with or without explanining texts. The project contains manuscripts and sheets out of architecture, astronomy, heraldry or art of warfare. The basis of the fond are the royal book collections of Munich and Mannheim from 16th to 19th century.
