[Dt.:] Die Gottscho-Schleisner Collection besteht aus über 29,000 Fotografien von Innen- und Außenansichten von Gebäuden, Geschäften, Büros, Fabriken und historischen Gebäuden. Der Fokus liegt auf dem Nordosten der USA, besonders die New Yorker Gegend und Florida. Eingeschlossen sind auch die Häuser berühmter Amerikaner und US-Präsidenten. Viele Fotografien dokumentieren wichtige Errungenschaften in der amerikanischen Architektur und Innenarchitektur des 20. Jahrhunderts. - [Engl.:] The Gottscho-Schleisner Collection is comprised of over 29,000 images primarily of architectural subjects, including interiors and exteriors of homes, stores, offices, factories, historic buildings, and other structures. Subjects are concentrated chiefly in the northeastern United States, especially the New York City area, and Florida. Included are the homes of notable Americans and of several U.S. presidents. Many of the photographs document important achievements in American 20th-century architecture and interior design.
